When a wastewater client contracted Smart Turner Pumps Inc to develop a non-clog centrifugal pump system to transport raw sewage for treatment and processing, we knew that the system would need to conform to high design standards. Taking into consideration the rating, capacity, and performance benchmarks of end user requirements, our expertise and experience enabled us to deliver an effective overall product including an 8" diameter inlet and 6" diameter discharge with a flow of 1934 USGPM and a 150' head.
In order to further increase the pump's efficiency, we applied two coats of a Performance Coating, which also increased abrasion and chemical resistance and is safe for the municipal wastewater use. We built the pump's vertical mount, and supplied the 100 HP motor to NEMA premium efficiency standards, ensuring reliable and virtually uninterrupted operation for our customer.
